How to play Monte Carlo

Objective

The goal is to discard all pairs of cards of the same rank (e.g., two Kings, two 7s) until the entire deck is cleared.

Game Setup

  • Tableau: Cards are dealt face up into a 5x5 grid (25 cards).
  • Stock: The remaining cards are kept face down.

How to Play

  • Remove Pairs: You can remove a pair of cards if they have the same rank and are adjacent horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Consolidate: After removing all possible pairs, the remaining cards are shifted up and to the left to fill the gaps, maintaining their relative order.
  • Refill: Deal new cards from the stock to fill the empty spaces at the end of the grid (bottom right) to restore the 5x5 layout.
  • Game Over: The game ends when the stock is empty and no more pairs can be removed.
